Position Summary
Deni House long-term care facility located in Williams Lake, BC, has a permanent, part-time (0.50 FTE) Rehabilitation Assistant opening. Days of work are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 09:00 to 15:36.
Within this role the Rehabilitation Assistant:
• Is encouraged to work at top of scope.
• Engages patients with regular therapeutic interventions.
• Has a huge impact on progression of patient needs and their rehab journey.
• Is an integral member of the rehabilitation team.
• Is relied on to be the eyes and ears of the rehab team.
You will have a key role in carrying out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assisting therapists in monitoring and evaluating clients/residents’ progression.

Deni House is a 28-bed long-term care facility in Williams Lake, BC, providing a warm, home-like environment for residents who require complex care. The site includes permanent residential beds as well as short-stay spaces for respite, convalescent, and palliative needs. Located next to Cariboo Memorial Hospital, staff benefit from close access to acute care resources and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. The care team includes nursing, rehabilitation, social work, dietitian, and recreation professionals who work together to support residents’ quality of life. Qualifications
Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Driver’s License is required.
