The West Kelowna Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) is seeking a permanent part-time Physiotherapist to join our team. The role is scheduled Wednesday to Saturday, with shifts running from 16:30–21:00 and 11:00–20:00.

About the position
Urgent and Primary Care Centres provide care for people without a Primary Care Provider, who are not able to access their regular provider in a timely manner. A UPCC has a team of doctors, nurse practitioners, medical office assistants, nurses, social workers, life skills worker, and physiotherapists working together to provide team-based care for patients.
The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The Physiotherapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the profession, department; participates in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications
•Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
•Valid Driver’s license where required.
