Your Role:
As a Perioperative Aide | Patient Porter, you are an essential part of the surgical team, supporting the safe and efficient flow of patients, equipment, and supplies within the perioperative environment. You will assist in preparing the Operating Room (OR) for procedures, positioning patients and equipment, and ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are available. You’ll also transport patients, specimens, and equipment as required, and help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the surgical area. With your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to patient care, you’ll help ensure every procedure runs smoothly and safely in alignment with Interior Health’s vision and values.

Position Details:

Qualifications

• Grade 10 plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
