As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program, fostering engagement and connection among our residents.
Your Role:
In this dynamic role, you'll lead and facilitate a variety of individual and group leisure/recreation therapy programs, including arts, sports, music, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass setting up and organizing program spaces, assisting residents in participation, and collaborating with nursing staff and therapists to ensure a seamless experience. Additionally, you'll accompany residents on outings, ensuring their safety and enjoyment while confirming program details with relevant team members.

Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Completion of a recognized recreation course(s) plus two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid class 4 vehicle license required.
