			Join Our Team has a relief full time Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (R/AC) Mechanic!
Are you a skilled Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Mechanic looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity? Interior Health is seeking a R/AC Mechanic to join our Plant Services team at Summerland Health Centre and provide support across multiple facilities in the region.

In this role, you will apply your expertise to maintain and service HVAC and refrigeration systems, playing a key role in the functionality and safety of our hospital facilities.
What You’ll Do:
•	Perform skilled work in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration, including building automated control systems.
•	Install, alter, and repair refrigeration/cooling systems across the hospital and regional facilities.
•	Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations, maintaining safety and comfort.
Position Information
This is a relief full time position working Monday to Friday day shifts from 07:30 to 15:30.

			Qualifications
			•	Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic or equivalent Trade, Class B Level Gas Fitter’s License with an electrical endorsement recognized by the Province of B.C.  
•	Two (2) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  
•	Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
