We are hiring a Casual Rehabilitation Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in Nakusp, B.C.
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Shifts times: 08:00 to 16:00

About the position:
Arrow Lakes Hospital is a level one community hospital serving a population of approximately 5,000 residents in the Kootenay Boundary health service area. In this role the rehabilitation assistant may be asked to cover the communities of New Denver and Nakusp and float withing Interior Health’s long-term care, acute care and community worksites.
As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you are an essential member of a client centered, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, working under the clinical direction of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, or Speech Language Pathologists. In this role, you operate at the top of your scope to deliver consistent therapeutic interventions, carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs, and assist clinicians in monitoring and evaluating patient progression. Acting as the eyes and ears of the rehab team, you provide valuable observations and contribute meaningfully to each patient’s rehabilitation journey—driving progress, supporting individualized goals, and ensuring comprehensive, high quality care.

Qualifications
Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Driver’s License is required.

Rate of pay per April 10, 2026 Wage Schedule will be $32.84/hr
