Your Role: Crafting Excellence in Trades!
As a Power Engineer 4 | Maintenance Worker V, you’ll take on a dynamic role ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility’s power and plant systems. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing boilers, HVAC systems, emergency power, and other essential equipment, while performing preventative maintenance to keep everything running smoothly and in compliance with codes and regulations. In addition, you’ll bring your versatile trades skills—ranging from electrical and plumbing to painting—into play, performing duties approaching the journeyman level. This role also includes providing leadership by supervising Maintenance Workers and other designated staff, contributing to both the functionality of our facility and the development of your team.

Qualifications
• Grade 10, plus four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Certificate of competency as 4th Class Power Engineer recognized by the Province of British Columbia.
• Valid BC Driver’s License.
