We are hiring a relief, part-time (0.79 FTE) Rehabilitation Assistant at Gillis House located in Merritt, B.C.
Days of Work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
Shift times: 07:00 to 15:00

About this position:
This position will provide coverage until February 2027, or the return of incumbent whichever is first. Gillis House is a long‑term care home (complex care facility with approximately 75 residential and short stay beds. A Rehabilitation Assistant plays a supportive, hands-on role in delivering care that promotes residents’ mobility, independence, and overall well-being — under the direction of a physiotherapist and/or occupational therapist.
Within this role the Rehabilitation Assistant is encouraged to work at top of scope and relied on to be the eyes and ears of the rehab team. It is an autonomous role, requiring a self-motivated and reliable Rehabilitation Assistant to support rehab care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications
Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Class 5 Vehicle License where applicable.
