Days of work: Monday to Friday
Shift times: 08:00 to 16:00

What we offer:
We provide a comprehensive, competitive, and people focused employment package, emphasizing wellness, growth, work–life balance, and long-term stability. Locations that qualify for B.C. Student Loan Forgiveness Program and/or Canada Student Loan Forgiveness.

About the position:
This position offers a broad rural practice with a mix of acute care and long-term care rehabilitation services. Princeton General Hospital is a community hospital providing acute inpatient care, lab services, and 24/7 emergency services. Ridgewood Lodge long-term care home is adjacent to PGH. A Rehabilitation Assistant supports rehab treatments and planning.

The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.

About this location:
Beautifully situated where the Tulameen and Similkameen Rivers meet, Princeton is the southern gateway to B.C.’s Interior. The Cascade Mountains, surrounding valleys, and numerous lakes make it an exceptional place to work, play, and explore the great outdoors. In town, museums and historic buildings honour Princeton’s rich and colourful history. Its many events, tournaments, and fairs bring the community together throughout the year.

We love it here…
“Princeton offers a quiet lifestyle, plenty of clean air, and the staff is great. You get to know the community, and everyone gets to know you and trust you. It’s great when a patient says ‘I was relieved to see a familiar face’ when you are helping them in the Emergency Department.” – Dorothy Westfall, RN, Princeton General Hospital
