We are hiring for Casual Physiotherapists at the Kaslo Primary Health Centre in Kaslo, B.C. The clinic hours are 08:30-16:30, Monday through Friday. If you are a Registered Physiotherapist interested in expanding your skills in a public health setting, we would love to hear from you!

About the position:
The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The Physiotherapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the profession, department; participates in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team.

About this location:
A product of the silver bonanza of the 1890’s, the scenic community of Kaslo is set on a delta of the Kaslo River on Kootenay Lake, between the Selkirk and Purcell Mountains in southeast British Columbia. Old world charm and community spirit characterize the town with its tree lined streets and heritage houses. As the region’s first city, Kaslo has a colourful history and proudly celebrates its strong heritage with an annual celebration. There are several beautiful golf courses in the area, as well as hiking trails, lakes and rivers.
Qualifications
Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
