Position Summary
Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital (DHH) located in Clearwater, B.C. is hiring for Physiotherapists to join it rehabilitation team on a Casual basis. Shift times are 8 am to 4 pm and up to three days per week.

This is opportunity means hours may vary weekly and shifts may be at short notice. Casual employees receive an additional 13 percent of straight time pay, exclusive of all premiums, in lieu of scheduled vacations and statutory holidays.
About the position:
This position offers a Physiotherapist a highly dynamic caseload as in a small town you get to see a little of everything. A mixed patient caseload will include acute, outpatients, long-term care and home health visits. You’ll have rehabilitation assistant support to assist with carrying out rehabilitation treatment plans/programs and in monitoring/evaluation patients/residents/clients’ progression.
The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications
- Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
- Valid BC Driver’s license required.
