Position Summary
We are hiring for Clinical Dietitians to join our team in nutrition services in Williams Lake. Shift times may be 08:00 to 16:15 on an as needed basis.
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will leverage your clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive nutrition services, including assessments, care planning, and monitoring. You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams, providing counseling and education while serving as a vital resource for the community. You'll advise food service staff on patient care issues and menu development, ensuring optimal nutrition for all clients.

About CMH
Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) is a key healthcare facility located in Williams Lake, B.C. serving as the primary hospital for the Cariboo-Chilcotin region. This hospital plays a critical role in providing essential medical services to a large, mostly rural population spread across Central British Columbia. The hospital offers a broad range of healthcare services: 24/7 emergency care, inpatient and surgical services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, maternity services, outpatient care, and specialized services (i.e. support for patients with chronic conditions, mental health services, and rehabilitation care). A CMH redevelopment project is underway that includes an addition to the existing hospital as well as renovations to the existing facility.

Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics. Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility). Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC) [formerly College of Dietitian of British Columbia (CDBC)]. One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred. Valid BC Driver’s License.
