We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker V to join our dedicated and supportive team at Nicola Valley Health Centre in Merritt, BC. If you're a skilled tradesperson looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Your Role:
As a Maintenance Worker V, you will perform trades duties approaching the journeyman level in areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting, ensuring all work complies with applicable codes and regulations. You will also supervise other Maintenance Workers and designated staff, construct and repair various structural elements like walls, doors, and ceilings, and handle projects involving drywall, wood paneling, and floor coverings. Additionally, your expertise will be put to use in designing, constructing, and repairing furniture, and performing plastering, painting, and decorating tasks for both minor renovations and general maintenance.

Qualifications
• Grade 10
• Four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
