Position Summary
We have a relief full-time Occupational Therapist opening in the Primary Care Network team in Kelowna, B.C. This position is expected to run until September 2026, or the return of the current incumbent. This position works Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:00.

About the position:
The occupational therapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing inpatient, outpatient, residential and community occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of residents/clients/patients (‘the client’) and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The occupational therapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department; participates in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistants working with the rehabilitation team in regards to transfer of function.

Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program. Full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Valid BC Driver’s license.
