This position works rotating days, 08:00 to 16:00

What Will You Work On?
The Building Operations Assistant performs a variety of clerical and reception duties such as answering telephones; receiving, screening, and directing visitors and staff; performing fleet vehicle management functions, and booking meeting rooms.
The Building Operations Assistant is responsible for providing confidential administrative support to Managers by performing duties such as: data entry and word processing; preparing routine correspondence and reports; booking meeting rooms and conducting file searches. This position also ensures that technical systems and equipment are available for all CHSC offices, meeting rooms and workspaces; orders, disburses and maintains all office supply stocks; and implements and coordinates capital and minor equipment purchases as requested by Managers.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
• Grade 12 plus one years’ recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Completion of a Typing Test 45 wpm or greater, dated within the past 48 months and must be issued from a valid institution only. (Non-supervised tests not accepted)
