Qualifications
Ready to start your career in healthcare?
Step 1:
Make Sure you are eligible to apply:
In order to qualify for one-on-one support from our Career Specialists you must identify as First Nation (status and non-status), Métis and/or Inuit and have originated from Canada
** Self-identification must be indicated on your resume and/or cover letter, or you can elect to self-identify when creating your profile.**
Step 2:
Click the “apply” button. You will be re-directed to Sign-In or Create a profile:
Step 3:
If you already have a profile:
A) Enter your email address, click “Continue”,
B) Input your password.
C) You will then be re-directed to your online profile where you will answer a few questions, upload your resume and/or cover letter and supporting documents (certifications, education, typing tests, food safe, etc.)
D) “Confirm Application”
E) Review your information then “Submit Application.”
If this is your first time applying, follow the steps below: (this process takes less than five minutes).
A) Click on "Sign In/Create Profile",
B) Complete name and contact information including an email address and password you will use to access your profile.
C) Agree to the terms and use of the website.
D) You will receive an email confirmation to Activate your email address, please ensure you complete this step.
E) Sign In, this redirects you to Interior Health’s Career page.
F) Click on your Name (upper right corner), select “Profile.”
G) Complete the demographics page, verify address, answers the required questions and Aboriginal/Indigenous Identity. Click Save.
H) Click on the “Attachments” tab to upload your resume, cover letter, proof of COVID-19 vaccination and any supporting documents required. (Certifications, education, typing tests, food safe, etc.) See acceptable file types below.
I) Select attachment type, choose your file and “add attachment”, then Save.
We accept the following file versions:
• Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf)
• Text File (.txt)
• Rich Text Format File (.rtf)
• Graphic or Photo File (.jpg)
• High Quality Graphic File (.tif)
Step 4:
Your profile is now complete, you’re ready to apply for one-on-one support, click here: confirm your application and submit.
