Maintenance Worker

Position Summary

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Worker III, you will play a key role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our facility. Working under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks related to buildings, grounds, and equipment, adhering to established codes and regulations.

Your responsibilities will include repairing and constructing items such as walls, doors, floors, ceilings, windows, shelves, and cupboards, using materials like drywall, wood paneling, and glass. You’ll also handle plumbing tasks, such as replacing and repairing fixtures like sinks, toilets, and water supply lines, as well as installing repair kits for taps and other equipment.

Qualifications

• Grade 10, plus two year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
