About the Job
The Cardiology Department consists of 3+ Ultrasound Rooms and services offered include: Adult and Pediatric Transthoracic Echo, Contrast and Saline Bubble Echo, Transesophageal Echo and Stress Echo (Exercise and Dobutamine). Our Cardiac Sonographers at PRH work with Philips equipment that was purchased in the last 2 years.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications
Graduate of a recognized/accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography).
Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA).
Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
