About Us:
Columbia View Lodge in Trail, BC, is actively seeking a self-directed, motivated, reliable, and flexible Maintenance Worker V to join our dedicated team. Our hospital is committed to providing top-notch healthcare, and we need skilled professionals to ensure our electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards.
Your Role:
As a Maintenance Worker V, you'll be handling trades duties approaching the journeyman level in areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Supervise Maintenance Workers and designated staff while constructing walls, doors, floors, ceilings, and windows. Your skills will shine in framing, applying, and finishing materials like drywall, wood paneling, and floor coverings. Get creative by designing, constructing, and repairing furniture, cabinets, desks, tables, and shelves. Dive into plastering, painting, and decorating, contributing to both minor renovations and general maintenance.

This position works Monday to Friday day shifts from 07:00 to 15:00.

Qualifications
• Grade 10, plus four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
