Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking a relief, full-time Bachelor’s level Social Worker to join our team at Golden & District Hospital in Golden, BC. As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of our clients by providing comprehensive psychosocial care. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized care plans, and coordinate treatment for individuals and families, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support.

About the position:
This position will provide coverage until return of incumbent June 1, 2026. . This position works Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00 hours. Once hired into a relief role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent positions. There are many opportunities with Interior Health that begin with relief positions and lead to regular employment.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
Two years recent related experience in a healthcare setting working with medically complex clients with concurrent disorders, or a combination of education, training and experience.
Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
Current valid driver’s license.
