Position Summary
Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH), located in Williams Lake, B.C., is seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in nutrition care, support health promotion, and collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in the beautiful Cariboo region of B.C.!
This position supports acute care within a 29 inpatient bed hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will leverage your clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive nutrition services, including assessments, care planning, and monitoring. You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams, providing counseling and education while serving as a vital resource for the community. Additionally, you'll advise food service staff on patient care issues and menu development, ensuring optimal nutrition for all clients. Days of work are Monday through Friday; 08:00 to 16:00 hours.

About Cariboo Memorial Hospital | CMH is a key healthcare facility located in Williams Lake, B.C. serving as the primary hospital for the Cariboo-Chilcotin region. This hospital plays a critical role in providing essential medical services to a large, mostly rural population spread across Central British Columbia. The hospital offers a broad range of healthcare services: 24/7 emergency care, inpatient and surgical services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, maternity services, outpatient care, and specialized services (i.e. support for patients with chronic conditions, mental health services, and rehabilitation care). A CMH redevelopment project is underway that includes an addition to the existing hospital as well as renovations to the existing facility.

Qualifications
• Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
• Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
• Full registration as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
