Your Role:
As a Recreation Therapy Worker | Bus Driver, you'll play a pivotal role within our interdisciplinary team, implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program. Operating within a client-centered framework, you'll be responsible for overseeing individual and group leisure/recreation therapy programs, spanning a diverse range of activities such as arts, crafts, sports, music, and gardening. Your duties will include setting up program spaces, transporting residents to activities, providing instruction, and monitoring participation, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Additionally, you'll coordinate resident outings, lead sessions and events, and provide essential reports for care conferences and program evaluations.
Work Schedule:
This is a relief part-time (0.85FTE) position working rotating day shifts.

Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Completion of a recognized recreation course(s) plus two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid class 4 vehicle license required.
