About the Role:
At CMH, you’ll enjoy a diverse caseload that allows you to fully utilize your skills across a variety of settings including acute care, convalescent care, and outpatient services. With the hospital’s pending expansion from 28 to 54 beds and a new permanent orthopedic surgeon on board specializing in hip and knee replacements as well as simple trauma, you’ll have the chance to be part of exciting orthopedic cases alongside a generalist practice.

You’ll work primarily with acute care patients and will see orthopedic surgery, general surgery, neuro, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, total hip and knee replacements clients and more. You’ll collaborate closely with rehabilitation assistants and other allied health professionals to ensure seamless, client-centered care.

• Background in acute care and hospital-based physiotherapy

• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• Valid Driver’s license where required.
