Position Summary
Join our team as a Community Respiratory Therapist in Kamloops, B.C. Respiratory Therapy services offered in Kamloops community include home health (within city limits), pulmonary rehabilitation, asthma clinic and home oxygen program. The home oxygen program covers Kamloops, Lillooet, Merritt to Williams Lake.
Days of work are Mondays to Fridays; 08:00 to 16:00. You are required to hold a valid driver’s license and may be required to drive a personal car on mileage and/or be assigned a fleet vehicle.

About the position:
The Community Respiratory Therapist is a vital member of a client- and family-centered care team. In this role you will assess and prepare clients for treatment or therapy by reviewing and clarifying physician's requests, obtaining various diagnostic test results and interviewing client/family in order to gather and compile pertinent information for use in planning client care, and plan client treatment using current technologies and therapies and ensures diagnostic/therapeutic procedures are consistent and correct for the client's condition.

Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
- Current valid driver’s License.
