We are hiring a casual Respiratory Therapist for the Cariboo Memorial Hospital, located in Williams Lake, B.C.
Days of work: Varies as needed
Shift times: 07:00 to 19:15, 19:00 to 07:15

About this position:
Casual shifts are available on a rotating scheduled and on an as needed basis. Respiratory Therapy services include Acute Care, Diagnostics, Community Care and Primary Care. Acute RTs can expect a varied workday covering most areas of the hospital and see patients neonate to elderly. The days offer variety with a real team approach with other healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will provide respiratory care in alignment with Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) standards and a client- and family-centered care model. You will work both independently and collaboratively to support clients with a range of acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions. This position involves consulting with other healthcare professionals, contributing to quality improvement, and applying best practices in respiratory therapy. You will also maintain and advance your clinical skills and may participate in committees, team initiatives, and approved research projects.

Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program. Successful completion of the Health Professionals Testing Canada (HPTC) Credentialing Exam. Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT). Current valid B.C. Driver’s License.
