Position Summary
Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH), located in Penticton, B.C., has a relief full-time Occupational Therapist opening. This position is expected to run until February 2026 or the return of the current incumbent. This position works Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:00, and supports acute care and the rehab unit.

About the position:
An Occupational Therapist plays a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. You will provide work direction to the Rehabilitation Assistants working with the rehabilitation team in regard to transfer of function.

Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is a referral centre for three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan. Our Emergency department sees upwards of 36k visits and we have 129 acute beds and 102 extended care beds and offer a full range of health services to the community.

Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized Occupational Therapy program
Full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
Valid BC Driver’s license
