Position Summary
Queen Victoria Hospital, in Revelstoke B.C., has an opportunity for a Permanent Full Time Dual Sonographer! This position will work rotating days and the shift times will be 07:30 to 18:00.
What Will You Work On?
The Medical Imaging department houses 1 Ultrasound room and services offered include general Ultrasonography. Sonographers work with the Philips Epiq unit that was purchased in 2015. Our team works closely with off-site Radiologists through teleradiography. Revelstoke is a vibrant community with many young families and outdoor enthusiasts; therefore obstetrics and MSK ultrasound make up a routine portion of our work.

Qualifications
• Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography).
• Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular).
Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
