Position Summary
We are seeking and Electrician to join our Plant Services team in Williams Lake, BC.
Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) is a community hospital within Interior Health and plays an important role in meeting the healthcare needs of the people in the Williams Lake and surrounding areas. Plant Services as a whole provides services and support for the safety and comfort of patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining the physical environment, grounds and systems.
Your Role:
As an Electrician, you’ll bring your journeyman-level expertise to maintain and enhance our electrical and electronic systems. From installing and repairing to troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, your work will ensure seamless operations, all while adhering to the highest safety and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with departments to review work requests and project specifications, interpreting blueprints, and estimating materials and labor for recommendations.
• Conducting operational and safety risk assessments to prepare for projects, scheduling work, and organizing tools and equipment.

Qualifications
• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Electrician recognized by the Province of British Columbia. Two (2) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must have a B.C. Class B Field Safety Representative Certificate.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
