Position Summary
Joining us at Golden Health Centre you’ll play a critical role within a multi-disciplinary team setting and within varied healthcare settings.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our warm and welcoming team in Golden, B.C. In this role, client care is centered on rehabilitation and recovery for a mixed caseload of pediatrics, acute, and long-term care. Focus is on improving the functions of clients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions so that they may be safely discharged home.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical status, functional abilities, and goals, utilizing an evidence-based approach to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Your expertise will focus on improving, maintaining, or supporting clients’ physical performance and independence. As part of a collaborative team, you will educate clients and caregivers on self-management and injury prevention, while working to achieve optimal health outcomes through ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment strategies. You’ll offer guidance and direction to rehabilitation assistants, ensuring that specific care needs are met and functions are transferred appropriately for optimal client outcomes. Shift times are 08:00 to 16:00 hours and will occur on weekday.

Qualifications
• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
