Position Summary
Joining us at East Kootenay Primary Care Network (EKPCN) you will play a crucial role in working to improve the health of the population through timely access to comprehensive, person-centred, team-based care. This position is based in Invermere’s District Hospital.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical status, functional abilities, and goals, utilizing an evidence-based approach to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Your expertise will focus on improving, maintaining, or supporting clients’ physical performance and independence. As part of a collaborative team, you will educate clients and caregivers on self-management and injury prevention, while working to achieve optimal health outcomes through ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment strategies. You’ll offer guidance and direction to rehabilitation assistants, ensuring that specific care needs are met and functions are transferred appropriately for optimal client outcomes.
Days of work: Week One Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays | Week Two Wednesdays/Thursdays
Shift times: 08:30 to 16:30

Qualifications
• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• Valid Driver’s license where required.
