Position Summary
About Us:
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Recreation team at Dr. Helmken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater! As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll have the chance to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a variety of recreational/leisure programs designed to enhance the health and well-being of our residents and clients in long-term care, acute, and adult day program settings.
This position is a permanent part time (0.88FTE) day shift position. This position has 3 months of temporary accommodation to assist with relocation.
Your Role:
In this permanent part-time role, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and meaningful recreational activities for our residents and clients. From crafts and music to woodworking and mental aerobics, you'll develop programs that cater to their physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs and interests. As a supervisor, you'll also oversee designated staff, students, and volunteers, providing guidance, coordinating work assignments, and ensuring the highest standards of performance.

Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized recreational program plus one years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
