Position Summary
Kiro Wellness Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Administrative Services Assistant to join their team in Trail, B.C. Hours of work are rotating days from 8:30 to 16:30.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.

What Will You Work On?
In this role you will perform a variety of reception, administrative and Health Unite Aide support duties including:
• Data entry including gathering, organizing, collecting, collating and verifying information, typing correspondence
• Preparing presentations, arranging meetings, transcribing minutes, booking travel, and record management
• Scheduling and confirming client appointments as well as receiving, recording and checking balances of cash transactions
• Maintaining and cleaning medical/surgical supplies, equipment and HCIS resource material
Cleaning, setting up and dismantling rooms, cleaning/sanitizing toys and equipment
• Weighing and measuring babies, calibrating equipment, vision screenings
What should your application include?
• A current supervised 5 minute Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within past 24 months from a recognized institution;
• An Office Administration Certificate;
• A current valid BC Driver’s License;
• Your Resume;

Qualifications
Education, Training & Experience
• Grade 12,
• Certificate from a recognized office administration certificate program, plus
• One year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current valid BC Driver’s License.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
• Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
• Ability to operate related equipment
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Ability to type at 40 wpm
