Position Summary
Joining us at Deni House long-term care you will play a crucial role in carrying out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and in assisting therapists in monitoring and evaluating clients/residents’ progression.
Within this role a Rehabilitation Assistant:
• Is encouraged to work at top of scope.
• Engages patients with regular therapeutic interventions.
• Has a huge impact on progression of patient needs and their rehab journey.
• Is an intrical member of the rehabilitation team.
• Is relied on to be the eyes and ears of the rehab team.

Days of work are Mondays to Fridays: 08:00 to 16:00.

About Deni House: Deni House is a long-term care home with 28 resident/short stay beds that is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Secwépemc Nation. Deni House embodies a resident-centered philosophy designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. Adjacent to Deni House is Cariboo Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications
• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
