Position Summary
Sparwood Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Administrative Services Assistant to join their team in Sparwood, B.C. When scheduled this position works Days from 08:00 to 16:00.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.
What Will You Work On?
This position performs reception and administrative support to HCIS/MHSU/PCCT programs in accordance with Interior Health polices and procedures. Performs duties such as data entry, client scheduling, preparing routine correspondence and reports, responding to inquiries, and collecting fees.
This position also provides health unit aide support to HCIS/MHSU/PCCT programs by performing duties such as maintaining inventories of medical/surgical supplies, cleaning medical equipment and instruments, and delivering supplies and biologicals to health unit as requested.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Grade 12, a certificate from a recognized office administration certificate program, plus one year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current valid BC Driver’s License.
