Maintenance Worker

Position Summary

Put your trade skills into full motion and join the passionate and welcoming staff in the beautiful community of West Kelowna, BC. We are looking for a self-directed, motivated, reliable, and flexible Maintenance Worker III to join our team at Ashcroft Hospital.

Your Role
As a Maintenance Worker III, you'll perform maintenance and repair duties related to buildings, grounds, and equipment in areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. You'll also repair furniture, fix walls, doors, floors, ceilings, and windows, and construct items like shelves and cupboards. Your role includes replacing and repairing plumbing fixtures and installing repair kits to taps and equipment.

Position Information
This is a casual position with possible days shifts from 06:00 to 14:00. Casual positions offer flexible work requirements ranging from 0 to 37.5 hours per week. Upon joining us in a casual role, you'll become eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent part-time or full-time positions. Qualifications

• Grade 10, plus two year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
