Permanent full-time Combined Lab/ Transfusion Medicine Services/ X-Ray CL/TMS/XT vacancy is available now at the Golden District Hospital in Golden, B.C. CL/TMS/XT shifts include rotating days, evening and nights with shift times: 07:00 to 15:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 14:00 to 22:00, 15:00 to 23:00

About the position:

The Combined Laboratory Transfusion Medicine Services X-Ray Technologist performs a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. Performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required. This position is assigned to the Laboratory department.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program. Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.
One year of general experience in both laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Successful completion of a certificate in transfusion medicine techniques from a recognized and/or accredited educational institution.
