Interior Health is seeking a patient focused; team oriented Registered Nurse to join our medical surgical team at the Royal Inland Hospital in beautiful Kamloops, B.C.

About the Job:
The Registered Nurse:
• Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities
This is a RELIEF FULL-TIME (1.0 FTE) OPPORTUNITY until February 20, 2026, or the return of the incumbent.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights; rotating from 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 hours.
About this location/unit:
The unit is 30 beds – all private patient rooms. It has four high obs surgical/eight trauma/eight stroke and ten neurosciences (post op neuro patients, or neuro diagnosis). This unit is located in the new Gaglardi Tower 8th Floor that opened July 17, 2022. The building has state of the art technology and equipment, and private rooms that are clean and spacious.

Qualifications
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
