Position Summary
Interior Health has an opportunity for a casual CLXT in 100 Mile House, B.C. . If you have successfully completed a recognized Combined Lab/X-Ray CLXT program and would enjoy everything in this gentle paced, affordable and rural lifestyle, then we would love to hear from you!
Casual employment means work requirements can vary between 0 and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. This position can work, days, evenings and weekend with the hours being between 07:30 to 15:30, 11:00 to 19:00, 09:00 to 17:00.
What Will You Work On?
The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The CLXT also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required.

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program.
Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.
One year of general experience in laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
