Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) has an immediate relief full time Physiotherapist opening. This position is to provide coverage until December 2025, or the return of incumbent.

KGH is a tertiary referral hospital and offers high-level, specialty medical care including 24 hour emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic/paramedical services. Specialty services include adult and adolescent psychiatry, outpatient nutrition, patient care quality officers, and cardiac surgery.
This position’s focus is critical care. Includes one in five week-ends working throughout Acute Care wards. Shifts times: 7:30 to 15:30 hours and 08:00 to 16:00 hours with occasional shifts 09:00 to 17:00 hour; occasional work on Statutory holidays.
As a Physiotherapist in our dynamic multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. You'll work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing your expertise to provide comprehensive physiotherapy services that empower individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. From conducting assessments to developing personalized treatment plans and providing education to clients and caregivers, you'll play a vital role in promoting functional independence and enhancing overall well-being. And you’ll provide direction to rehabilitation assistants, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of care within the rehabilitation team. Your contributions won't stop there – you'll also have the chance to actively contribute to our organization's goals and participate in quality assurance initiatives, research endeavors, and educational opportunities.

Qualifications
• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• Valid Driver’s license where required.
