Your Role:
As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of our clients by providing comprehensive psychosocial care. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized care plans, and coordinate treatment for individuals and families, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support. Your work will involve direct counseling, crisis intervention, and leading group sessions to help clients navigate complex systems and manage their own care effectively. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and other service providers, you will ensure that each client’s needs are met with a holistic and compassionate approach.
In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining and improving social work services through active participation in program development and policy recommendations. You will serve as a key resource for the team, offering guidance on issues related to adult guardianship, consent, and other legal and ethical matters. Your ability to document and evaluate interventions will be essential in ensuring that our services continue to meet the highest standards of care. Through your expertise and dedication, you will help to create a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their best possible outcomes.
Scheduling Information:
This position works Monday to Friday day shifts from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Two years recent related experience in a healthcare setting working with medically complex clients with concurrent disorders, or a combination of education, training and experience.
• Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
• Current valid driver’s license.
