About the Role
Under the supervision of the Adult Day Centre Program Supervisor, the Adult Day Service Worker plays a vital role in our client-centered model. You will be responsible for meeting the needs of an assigned group of clients by assisting them with established programs and activities of daily living tasks.
As determined by the Program Supervisor, you will implement and participate in activation, life skills, recreational, and social activities designed to meet the needs of our clients. Your role includes providing demonstrations as required, adapting, and modifying activities to meet the special needs of clients, setting up and organizing furnishings and equipment for programs and special events, accompanying clients to programs, teaching techniques of related programs, overseeing participation, and reporting any problems or changes to the supervisor.

Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Completion of an Activity Assistant Program, and one year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Food Safe certificate.
