About the Role
As a Recreation Therapy Worker and Bus Driver, you will be a vital part of our interdisciplinary team, bringing our Recreation Therapy Program to life. Your creativity and enthusiasm will shine as you develop and lead a wide array of activities, including arts, crafts, sports, music, cooking, gardening, and exercises. Each activity is designed to cater to the unique needs and interests of our residents, ensuring their engagement and enjoyment.
Your organizational skills will be key as you set up and prepare for programs and special events, teach activity techniques, and oversee resident participation, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
You'll have the opportunity to take residents on exciting outings, ensuring they have the necessary clothing and funds, and coordinating with nursing staff and supervisors. Whether you're leading one-on-one sessions, group activities, or large special events, you'll adapt programs to meet the physical, social, cognitive, spiritual, and emotional needs of our residents.

Position Information
If you're seeking casual employment, this opportunity allows for flexible work hours (0 - 37.5 hours per week) with rotating day shifts from 08:30 to 16:30. Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Completion of a recognized recreation course(s) plus two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid class 4 vehicle license required.
