About the Role:
As a Clinical Dietitian at 100 Mile House and District Hospital, you'll be a vital member of our multidisciplinary care team, contributing your expertise across:
• Acute inpatient care
• Outpatient and diabetes education programs
• Long-term care nutrition support

You’ll provide comprehensive services including nutritional assessments, care planning, individualized counseling, and follow-up monitoring. You’ll also:
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers in achieving nutritional goals
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support recovery and long-term wellness
• Consult with food services on therapeutic diets, menu planning, and patient-specific needs
• Champion evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Whether guiding a patient through post-surgical recovery, supporting someone managing diabetes, or ensuring balanced nutrition for a long-term care resident—you’ll help clients regain control of their health, one meal at a time.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
• Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
• Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience suitable to the facility or program is preferred.
• Practice specific requirements and experience in programs applicable to practice area such as: Diabetes Education, Nutrition Support, and Kidney and Chronic Disease Management Programs.
• Valid Driver’s License.
