Position Summary
We have a part-time (0.80 FTE) opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP) to support Inpatient Rehabilitation within the Rehabilitation Unit at Royal Inland Hospital.
This position works Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. This position will provide coverage until August 2025, or the return of incumbent.

About the job:
Join a dynamic and dedicated team of caring professionals as an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication/swallowing as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with these people for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing for adults requiring this care. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.

Qualifications
Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
One year’s clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. New grads are also welcome to apply.
Valid Driver’s license where required.
Certified practice in VFSS and/or FEES as outlined by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professions of BC are an asset.
