Your Role as a Pharmacy Assistant:
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to support various aspects of our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include packaging and distributing unit dose medications, assisting with inventory control and statistical reporting activities, and performing related clerical functions. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our pharmacy services.
Casual Employment Opportunities:
Our casual positions offer flexible work hours ranging from zero to 37.5 hours per week, including day and evening shifts. As a casual employee, you'll have the opportunity to apply for permanent part-time or full-time positions internally, providing pathways for career advancement within Interior Health.

Qualifications
• Completion of Grade 12
• Graduation from a recognized Pharmacy Assistant Course, plus one year recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
