Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking a dedicated Casual Pharmacy Technician to join Penticton Regional Hospital’s Pharmacy Department. Shift types include day shifts.
Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and shifts can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

As a registered Pharmacy Technician, your role extends beyond traditional boundaries. You'll spearhead a range of technical functions in prescription preparation and processing, guided by the high standards set by the College of Pharmacists of B.C. and aligned with our organizational protocols.

About This Location:
Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is an acute care hospital with a medium size Pharmacy operating seven days a week during daytime hours. Our Emergency department sees upwards of 36k visits and we have 129 acute beds and 102 extended care beds and offer a full range of health services to the community.
Penticton has one of the best year-round climates in Canada, where you can enjoy two beautiful lakes, acres of parks, and wilderness trails on the local mountains. Qualifications
• Grade 12;
• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; and
• Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
