Position Summary

Kamloops’s Counselling and Treatment Services help clients with moderate to severe mental health concerns through their wellness journey and recovery to achieve permanent treatment goals. Services include group and individual counselling, assessment and intervention, medical and psychiatric consultation, education and self-management support, referrals, and outreach. We strive to ensure that our services are welcoming of all peoples, gender identities, cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds.

Joining us, you’ll be working directly with Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) Clinicians, Psychiatrists, Physicians, Registered Nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals in providing optimal assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, and equipment prescription care for clients.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists.
• Valid Driver’s license.
