Position Summary

Kootenay Lake Hospital (KLH) is located in Nelson, B.C. It serves the communities around Kootenay Lake, providing a range of medical services such as emergency care, surgery, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, and various specialized treatments. The hospital is an important healthcare facility for residents in the region, offering both inpatient and outpatient services to meet the healthcare needs of the community.

Joining us at KLH you’ll play a pivotal part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you will make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC) [formerly College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC)].
• Valid Driver’s license where required.
