About Us:
We are presently seeking a new team member to join our Recreation Therapy Department at Coquihalla Gillis House in Merritt, BC. Our facility embodies a client-centered philosophy designed to support clients’ choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible.

Your Role:
As a Recreation Therapy Worker | Bus Driver, you will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team and be responsible for implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program. Your duties include carrying out individual or group leisure/recreation therapy programs, organizing various activities such as arts, socio-cultural events, crafts, sports, music, cooking, gardening, and exercises. Additionally, you will accompany residents on outings, ensuring they have everything they need for a memorable experience.

Casual Employment Opportunities:
Casual employment means work requirements can vary between zero and 37.5 hours per week, with shifts available during days or evenings. Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Completion of a recognized recreation course(s) plus two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid class 4 vehicle license required.
