Interior Health is seeking a patient focused; team oriented Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team at the Invermere District Hospital in beautiful Invermere, BC.

About the Job
The Registered Nurse:
• Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities
This is a Casual Opportunity. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary and shifts may be at short notice. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent and temporary positions. There are many opportunities with Interior Health that begin with casual employment and lead to regular employment.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days, evenings and nights; rotating 07:00 to 19:00, 10:00 to 22:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
* Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly rate will be $41.42 to $55.91 per hour.
About this location/unit
The Invermere & District Hospital is located in the heart of Invermere on Lake Windermere and has 8 acute care beds (2 with heart monitors), 1 Labour & Delivery room, a cast room and 36 residential beds. The Emergency Room has 12 stretchers and a 2 bay trauma room. The facility is walking distance to all 3 medical clinics and the retail/shopping district of the community, and both public beaches!

Qualifications
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
